Привіт! Навіть не уявляю, якою буде інтернет в майбутньому. Здається ще пару років тому чи навіть раніше я вже писав, наскільки змінилася мережа. Знайти цікаву інформацію стало складно, а пошуковики підсовують сторінки тих, хто більше заплатив. Корпорації витіснили контентні сайти, чимало вебмайстрів кинули свою роботу чи перейшли на генерацію публікацій ШІ та продаж посилань.

Зникають форуми, складно знайти саме те, що я хочу дізнатися, а сайти пропонують не надто цікаву, а часом, безглузду інформацію. Я буду трішки сумувати за тим старим інтернетом. І важко уявити, яким буде наступний крок. Як буде розвиватися мережа. Ймовірно, що WEB 3 вийде в лідери, але коли це буде. Враховуючи швидкість змін, не скоро. Чи може інформативні сайти взагалі відійдуть в минуле, а натомість їм прийдуть соціальні мережі з контентом чи месенджери. Особисто мені це не надто подобається, звик до сайтів і гадаю, чимало з вас також. Чи може інформація буде зберігатися на серверах, а доступ до неї будуть мати мовні моделі. Останні й будуть інформувати нас. Але для цього теж потрібно пройти ще чимало кроків, адже ШІ зі своїми галюцинаціями може видати таке, що й на вуха не натягнеш. Хоча за пару років ШІ реально зробив пару кроків уперед. Я чимало експериментував з мовними моделями й вони можуть вже значно краще писати. Занепад мережі чи новий етап розвитку?

Інтернет переживає трансформацію, яку складно не помітити. Ще нещодавно він був простором для пошуку знань і спільнот, а сьогодні — ареною корпорацій та алгоритмів. Пошукові системи дедалі частіше просувають не найцінніший контент, а комерційний. Незалежні сайти та форуми зникають, поступаючись місцем масовим публікаціям, створеним штучним інтелектом чи заради реклами.

Ностальгія за «старим інтернетом» зрозуміла — тоді контент творили люди для людей. Майбутнє ж невизначене: можливо, провідну роль отримає Web 3.0, або ж нас повністю поглинуть соціальні платформи й месенджери. Інформація може перейти під контроль мовних моделей, які стануть посередниками між користувачем і знанням.

Проте цей шлях не без ризиків. ШІ все ще схильний до помилок, а інтернет втрачає людський вимір. Та все ж, розвиток мовних моделей вражає — за кілька років вони зробили кроки, які раніше здавалися фантастикою.
Погодьтеся, написано інформативно, цікаво, академічно... Я б теж так зміг, але для подібної писанини довелося б витратити значно більше часу. Коли ж я запитав у ШІ, як він чи вона оцінює мою ідею публікацію, отримав відповідь — актуальніша, ніж здається на перший погляд. Вона торкається трьох тем — кризи аутентичності в інтернеті, витіснення людини алгоритмами та ШІ, роздуми про майбутнє WEB. Цей допис, на думку ШІ, має потенціал для глибокої статті. Я згоден, має, але пишуть її хай спеціально навчені люди чи може мовні моделі ШІ. А поки ще алгоритми та ШІ зовсім не витіснили людину з інтернет-простору, адже ми, люди, ще боремося й навіть пишемо щось в мережі.

It has become difficult to find interesting information, and search engines are pushing the pages of those who paid more. Corporations have replaced content sites, many webmasters have quit their jobs or switched to AI publication generation and link sales.

Forums are disappearing, it is difficult to find exactly what I want to know, and sites offer not very interesting, and sometimes, meaningless information. I will miss that old Internet a little. And it is difficult to imagine what the next step will be. How the network will develop. It is likely that WEB 3 will become the leader, but when it will be. Given the speed of change, it will not be soon. Maybe informative sites will become a thing of the past, and social networks with content or messengers will come in their place. Personally, I don't like it very much, I'm used to websites, and I think many of you do too. Maybe the information will be stored on servers, and language models will have access to it. The latter will inform us. But for this, too, you need to go through many more steps, because AI with its hallucinations can produce something that you can't even imagine. Although AI has really taken a couple of steps forward in a couple of years. I've experimented a lot with language models, and they can already write much better. The Internet is undergoing a transformation that is difficult not to notice. Not so long ago, it was a space for searching for knowledge and communities, and today it is an arena for corporations and algorithms. Search engines are increasingly promoting not the most valuable content, but commercial content. Independent sites and forums are disappearing, giving way to mass publications created by artificial intelligence or for advertising.

The nostalgia for the “old internet” is understandable — back then, content was created by people for people. The future is uncertain: perhaps Web 3.0 will take the lead, or we will be completely absorbed by social platforms and messengers. Information may come under the control of language models, which will become intermediaries between the user and knowledge.

However, this path is not without risks. AI is still prone to errors, and the Internet is losing its human dimension. Nevertheless, the development of language models is impressive — in a few years they have made steps that previously seemed like fantasy.
Agree, it is written informatively, interestingly, academically... I could have done it too, but I would have had to spend much more time on such writing. When I asked the AI ​​how he or she assessed my idea for a publication, I received an answer that was more relevant than it seems at first glance. It touches on three topics — the crisis of authenticity on the Internet, the displacement of humans by algorithms and AI, and reflections on the future of the WEB. This post, according to AI, has the potential for a deep article. I agree, it does, but it should be written by specially trained people or perhaps AI language models. And yet, algorithms and AI have not completely displaced humans from the Internet space, because we humans are still struggling and even writing something online.
