Попри заяви російських чиновників про недоторканість територіальної цінності, 24 лютого російські війська увійшли на українську землю та почали чинити безчинства. Протягом десятиліть нам розказували про "старшого брата" і багато людей дійсно почали сприймати це за чисту монету. Так, забулося все те, що відбувалося на початку минулого століття, та ще й світ дуже змінився.

Удар у спину 24 лютого

Люди звикли жити під мирним небом і не допускали думки про можливість використання важкого озброєння проти цивільного населення, інфраструктури, створення фільтраційних таборів, кліток для катувань. Я вже писав з посиланням на офіційні джерела ООН про військові злочини агресора. Майже всі думали про те, що знаходяться під надійним захистом. Та світ виявився тендітним і крихким. Скоріше за все, представники української влади, як і весь цивілізований світ не допускали війни таких масштабів. Мабуть з цієї причини й не розголошували числені попередження та іншу інформацію, яка поступала від розвідки США про війну. Удар від росії був підступний та страшний, а наслідки його, як мінімум, будуть розбирати десятки років, може й довше.

Достукатися до суспільної думки

Якщо ви зараз живете далеко від зони бойових дій, то, ймовірно, думаєте, що знаходитесь в безпеці. Колись я теж так думав. Але наша планета дуже маленька, а дурнів на ній забагато. Тому ігнорування, бездіяльність, мовчання робить вас пасивними співучасниками майбутніх проблем. Слідкуйте за подіями в світі, а, особливо, своїй країні та робіть адекватні кроки для покращення життя.

Суспільна думка має велике значення і вплив на політику, хоча іноді здається, що це не так. Взагалі для мене політика — це не бруд, а бездонне болото. Протягом років політики намагаються відкласти, відсторонити проблему, керуючись здебільшо власними інтересами. І так відбувається до тих пір, доки проблема не перетворюється хаос, таку ситуацію, коли неможливо передбачити подальший перебіг подій. Частково таку ситуацію ми спостерігаємо зараз, коли в руках терориста знаходиться ядерна зброя та є ймовірність її використання. Керований цей хаос чи ні — це наразі другорядне питання, та й відповідь на нього ми з вами навряд чи отримаємо.

В будь-якому випадку, Україна стала тією державою, котра змогла протистояти агресії росії. Для всього світу — це дуже важливо, оскільки ми, українці встали на захист інтересів міжнародної спільноти. Давайте припустимо, що в лютому 2022 року Україна здалась агресору та погодилась на силове розширення кордонів росії. Думаєте, що путін би зупинився на цьому? Навряд чи. Військові дії б продовжилися з метою захоплення нових територій.

Ми згуртовані як ніколи

Якою б сильною не була наша нація, ми б не змогли чинити достойний опір без допомоги інших держав. Підтримка від США, європейських та інших країн дозволяє рятувати багато життів. І ми за це безмежно вдячні! Наразі найбільшу допомогу, наскільки мені відомо, ми отримуємо від Сполучених Штатів.

До речі, в одному інтерв'ю UKRLIFE TV, спеціаліст в області конфліктології Раміс Юнус сказав, що саме зараз Україна та США знаходяться в одній зв'язці і американці готові йти в цьому питанні до кінця. Такої думки дотримуються й інші експерти. А ще саме зараз ми, українці, згуртовані як ніколи. У нас немає розколу серед правлячих еліт, а тим більше — між народом, звичайними людьми. Це саме те, на що так сподівався кремлівський вождь. Використання дронів, важкої артилерії дальньої дії та іншої зброї не лякають нас, а, скоріше, викликають відразу, тривожність, ненависть та здивування, як таке можна творити в 2022 році і чи є дно у путінських терористів.

Попри всі свої сподівання путін добився діаметрально протилежних результатів. Саме в його оточенні, як кажуть, відбувається розкол. Протистояння між ФСБ та Міністерством оборони, нерозуміння елітою свого місця в майбутньому країни та інші проблеми, включаючи міжнародні санкції, рано чи пізно зіграють свою роль.

People are used to living under a peaceful sky and did not allow the thought of the possibility of using heavy weapons against the civilian population, infrastructure, creation of filtration camps, cages for torture. I already wrote with reference to official UN sources about the war crimes of the aggressor. Almost everyone thought that they were under reliable protection. But the world turned out to be fragile and fragile. Most likely, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, like the entire civilized world, did not allow a war of such a scale. Perhaps for this reason, the numerous warnings and other information that came from the US intelligence about the war were not disclosed. The blow from Russia was insidious and terrible, and its consequences, at least, will be analyzed for decades, maybe even longer.

To reach public opinion

If you currently live far from a war zone, you probably think you are safe. I used to think so too. But our planet is very small, and there are too many fools on it. Therefore, ignoring, inaction, silence makes you a passive accomplice of future problems. Follow the events in the world, and especially in your country, and take adequate steps to improve life.

Public opinion has great importance and influence on politics, although sometimes it seems that it is not so. In general, for me, politics is not dirt, but a bottomless swamp. For years, politicians have been trying to postpone the problem, mostly guided by their own interests. And so it happens until the problem turns into chaos, a situation where it is impossible to predict the further course of events. In part, we observe such a situation now, when a terrorist has a nuclear weapon and there is a possibility of its use. Whether this chaos is managed or not is currently a secondary question, and you and I are unlikely to get an answer to it.

In any case, Ukraine became the state that was able to resist Russia's aggression. This is very important for the whole world, because we, Ukrainians, stood up to protect the interests of the international community. Let's assume that in February 2022, Ukraine surrendered to the aggressor and agreed to forcefully expand Russia's borders. Do you think that Putin would stop there? Unlikely. Military operations would continue with the aim of seizing new territories.

We are more united than ever

No matter how strong our nation is, we would not be able to put up a worthy resistance without the help of other countries. Support from the USA, European and other countries allows saving many lives. And we are infinitely grateful for that! At the moment, the largest aid, as far as I know, is from the United States.

By the way, in an interview with UKRLIFE TV, specialist in the field of conflict studies Ramis Yunus said that right now Ukraine and the USA are in the same relationship and the Americans are ready to go all the way in this matter. This opinion is also shared by other experts. And right now, we Ukrainians are more united than ever. We do not have a split among the ruling elites, let alone among the people, ordinary people. This is exactly what the Kremlin leader was hoping for. The use of drones, long-range heavy artillery and other weapons does not frighten us, but rather arouses disgust, hatred and wonder, how this can be done in 2022 and whether Putin's terrorists have a bottom.

Despite all his hopes, Putin achieved diametrically opposite results. It is in his environment, as they say, that there is a split. The confrontation between the FSB and the Ministry of Defense, the elite's lack of understanding of their place in the future of the country, and other problems, including international sanctions, will play a role sooner or later.
