Привіт! Дивився сьогодні на Ютубі відео якогось українського блогера про репутацію політиків й вирішив написати про це кілька рядків.

Блогер розповідав про те, що в нашій країні майже ніхто не приділяє уваги репутації. Мова йшла про політику, але я переведу її в русло суспільства, трішки бізнесу. Адже ця тема дійсно дуже болюча й турбує мене вже не один рік.

В соціальній мережі на блокчейні Hive репутації приділяється багато уваги й це правильно. В іншому випадку блогінг перетворився б на смітник. Кажуть, що в цивілізованих країнах Заходу репутації приділяється максимум уваги. І це торкається бізнесу, політики, кар'єри, кредитування тощо. Безвідповідальне ставлення до своїх обов'язків перед іншою стороною чи суспільством ставить жирну крапку в діяльності або ж суттєво її обмежує.

Не буду забагато писати, наведу пару прикладів з життя. У мене виникли проблеми з покрівлею будинку і я звернувся до однієї з невеличких компаній. Звернувся за рекомендацією дуже доброї знайомої, яка вже користувалася їх послугами. Роботу виконали, гроші взяли, але проблему усунули лиш частково. Два місяці мене годували обіцянками й знову роботу виконали погано. На третій раз, через кілька місяців, знову халтура, довелося виправляти їх помилки самостійно. Кожного разу до мене приходили нові робітники, хлопці різного віку, а їх попередники вже встигали звільнитися. Нині цієї фірми фактично вже немає: вона частково змінила назву й займається гуртово-роздрібною торгівлею.

Прогулююсь вулицями й бачу як на будівлях магазинів постійно змінюються вивіски. В одній і тій будівлі то одяг, то електроніка, то харчові продукти, то швейна майстерня, то перукарня... Лишаються надовго тільки великі торгові марки. Інші ж приходять і так же швидко зникають. Небагатьох цікавить довгостроковий бізнес та репутація: швидше б хапнути грошенят та відкрити нове, більш прибуткове підприємництво. І так ми ходимо по колу, десятиліттями.

Живу в Україні, а знаю переважно закордонні бренди, як одягу, так й інших товарів. Іноді вмикаю відео, де мандрівники розповідають про якийсь європейський заклад харчування чи виробництво, що працює вже десятки, а іноді й сотні років. Правнуки ведуть бізнес своїх предків й намагаються його зберегти, зберегти свою репутацію. А у нас є такі історії?

Reputation is zero or even lower

Hello!!! Today I watched a video on YouTube by a Ukrainian blogger about the reputation of politicians and decided to write a few lines about it.

The blogger was talking about how almost no one in our country pays attention to reputation. It was about politics, but I'm going to bring it into the mainstream of society and a little bit of business. After all, this topic is really very painful and has been bothering me for years.

On the Hive blockchain social network, a lot of attention is paid to reputation, and that's right. Otherwise, blogging would have turned into a dump. It is said that in civilized Western countries, reputation is given maximum attention. This applies to business, politics, career, lending, etc. An irresponsible attitude to one's responsibilities to another party or society puts a full stop to one's activities or significantly limits them.

I will not write too much, I will give a couple of examples from my life. I had problems with the roof of my house and contacted one of the small companies. I turned to them on the recommendation of a very good friend who had already used their services. They did the work, took the money, but the problem was only partially fixed. For two months I was fed with promises and again the work was done poorly. The third time, a few months later, it was again hackwork, and I had to correct their mistakes myself. Each time, new workers came to me, guys of different ages, and their predecessors had already quit. Today, this company is virtually gone: it has partially changed its name and is now engaged in wholesale and retail trade.

As I walk the streets, I see the signs on the shops constantly changing. In the same building, there are clothes, electronics, food, a sewing workshop, a hairdresser... Only big brands stay for a long time. Others come and go just as quickly. Few people are interested in long-term business and reputation: they would rather grab some money and open a new, more profitable business. And so we go in circles.

I live in Ukraine, but I know mostly foreign brands, both of clothing and other goods. Sometimes I turn on a video where travelers talk about some European restaurant or production facility that has been operating for decades, sometimes hundreds of years. The great-grandchildren are running their ancestors' business and trying to preserve it and maintain their reputation. Do we have such stories?
